These were a staple on my Mea's countertop. She made these cookies for just about every gathering we had as a family. My mom found my Mea's recipe jotted down on a Mother's day card that she had received. This recipe and these cookies are so special to me. If I close my eyes when I take a bite, I can almost sense being back in her kitchen with her sitting at the end of the kitchen table, with a big smile, waiting to hear how good her cookies were.
